Tonight’s the Night….

Thanks to Heather for reminding me we have meeting tonight,  (Monday May 28) 7pm  at Sam Sherrat.

Sorry for the lack of reminder notices.  Hope to see a representative from  each of your associations.  We do have some books for everyone’s school library  and some house keeping things to cover.

Suddenly, it’s almost the end of May!

Wow.  Not quite sure how we’ve gone a month without a post, but…. here we are.  Some bits and pieces to cover, so I’ve opted for dot jots!

• EQAO  Testing is under way in Halton.
• Check out www.eqao.com under “parent Resources”  for information around the testing. (it is available in over 20 languages, so this is a useful tool for parent communties).
• The HDSB has informed School Councils (and Home/Schools) that Parent Involved Funding received this year can be rolled over to next year.
• Funds MUST BE earmarked for a specific project
• Will update Blog shortly on meeting dates – trying to get us together before the end of the year!
